More than 60 representatives of travel agencies, tourism enterprises and related associations from Guangxi and Hualien, Taiwan took part in an online tourism resource-sharing meeting, held simultaneously in Nanning and Hualien on July 24, to seek common development and further cooperation.

Guangxi and Hualien have been engaged in non-governmental economic, cultural, and sporting exchanges over the past decade. In recent years, the exchanges and visits between Guangxi and non-governmental associations from Hualien have become even more frequent.

Yu Binlin, chairman of Guangxi China International Travel Service Co, pointed out at the meeting that Guangxi and Hualien have a similar humane culture but different ethnic customs, which provides favorable conditions for tourism companies in the two places to send tourists to each other. The current gradual recovery of Guangxi's tourism industry has also laid a solid foundation for the resumption of tourism cooperation between the two locations.

According to the Hualien Tourism Association, Hualien county is particularly known for its natural scenery and ethnic customs. It is a gathering place for Ami and Taroko ethnic groups. The county is expected to be a destination of choice for more Guangxi tourists following this video meeting.

Tourism companies from the two sides signed a letter of intent for tourism cooperation online, and reached a cooperation agreement on six aspects including integrating regional tourism resources, creating quality tourism destinations, promoting the combination of tourism and culture, and more.

广西与台湾花莲县旅游资源“云端”分享会当天在南宁市和花莲县同步举行，共计60多个来自旅行社、旅游企业和协会代表通过网络视频连线互动交流，共叙亲情，共谋发展。

据介绍，广西与花莲过去十几年间民间经济、文化、体育等领域交流热络。特别是近几年，广西与以花莲县海峡两岸少数民族交流协会等为代表的民间协会的交流参访活动日益频繁，两岸同胞结下深厚情谊。

广西中国国际旅行社有限公司董事长、总经理俞滨林在分享会上表示，广西沿海沿边、民族风情多姿多彩，与花莲人文相近，又有差异性和互补性，为两地旅游企业互送客源提供了有利的条件。当前广西旅游业逐步复苏，也为两地旅游合作恢复打下坚实基础，期待疫情过后两地可以通过各种形式互相输送游客，让更多的台湾同胞进一步了解广西、喜欢广西。

花莲旅游协会介绍，花莲县自然风光和民族风情尤为突出，是阿美人、太鲁阁人等聚集地，通过此次视频连线网上签约，相信更多广西游客对花莲充满向往、憧憬。

双方旅游企业当天在线上签署旅游合作意向书，就整合区域旅游资源，打造品质旅游目的地，促进旅游与文化的结合，发挥关联带动作用等六个方面达成合作意向。
