The 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), set to run from Sept 17 to 21 in Nanning, Guangxi, has completed its imported exhibit delivery.
The final shipment, a container of Malaysian ice cream, was overseen by Nanning Customs and arrived at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center on Sept 15, signifying the completion of all imported exhibits.

This year's expo features 133 exhibitors from ASEAN countries, with their goods covering specialty foods, skincare products, apparel, luggage, and household items.
A notable highlight is that around 30 percent of these exhibitors or their products are making their CAEXPO debut, such as Brunei's aquatic products, coffee beans, and Malaysia's cleaning supplies.

Since its inaugural edition in 2004, CAEXPO has developed into a central platform for trade cooperation between China and ASEAN. It has significantly contributed to the progression of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area from Version 1.0 to 2.0, and is now guiding its evolution toward Version 3.0, promoting wider and more profound cooperation.
Nanning Customs data reflects this growing partnership: From 2004 to 2024, Guangxi's trade volume with ASEAN surged 46.9 times, rising from 8.29 billion yuan ($1.15 billion) to 397.48 billion yuan.
