On Aug 28, the 2025 Guangxi (Pingxiang) China-Vietnam Border Tourism Festival kicked off at Youyiguan Square in Pingxiang.

The festival focuses on the innovative application of "AI plus" in culture, tourism, trade, and cross-border cooperation, seeking to advance smart tourism and digital border construction.

At the opening ceremony, domestic and foreign guests gathered to explore regional coordinated development. The 2025 China-Vietnam (Pingxiang) Border Tourism Image Ambassadors were also awarded on site.

Moreover, the Pingxiang government signed a strategic cooperation agreement on industrial integration with 11 auto enterprises. The partnership will promote intelligent transportation, efficient cross-border logistics, convenient cross-border trade, and industrial technology upgrading in border areas.

Now in its 30th year, the festival is a key bridge for China-Vietnam trade and cultural exchanges. This year's event includes activities related to cultural tourism, business, and public benefit, highlighting tech empowerment and tourism integration.

Through cross-border activities, it will enhance regional tourism appeal and competitiveness, providing a boost to local economic growth.
