The 2025 China International Fruit Expo is scheduled for Aug 27 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Over three days, Guangxi will feature a 300-square-meter themed pavilion and host more than 30 local enterprises participating in exhibition and sales activities.

The Guangxi Department of Commerce announced plans to organize local premium fruit companies to showcase a "subtropical orchard" in Shanghai. This event will feature ASEAN fruits such as durian, mangosteen, young coconut, and wax apple, along with Guangxi's own offerings like passion fruit, dragon fruit, mango, and longan.

Preparations are in progress to assist domestic and international buyers in establishing long-term partnerships with Guangxi's fruit brands and ASEAN fruit supply chain firms.

Hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce, and Animal By-products, the expo will showcase high-quality fruit resources from around the world, spanning the entire industry chain, across an exhibition space of more than 23,000 square meters.

The expo is expected to draw over 300 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions, as well as over 30,000 professional visitors. It will also feature dozens of domestic provincial and municipal delegations and well-known fruit enterprises. Overall attendance is expected to surpass 100,000.

A China-ASEAN Fruit Trading Center and Guangxi Fruit Promotion Conference will be held on the afternoon of Aug 27, focusing on investment promotion in fruit trade, cross-border e-commerce, logistics, warehousing, and on-site processing.
