Centered on the themes of "an island, a group of people, a piano, and a home," it follows Wu Qiming, an overseas-based musician, as he searches for "the first piano owned by a Chinese person on Kulangsu" — a quest that reignites his sense of faith and belonging.
The musical artfully portrays the deep patriotism of overseas Chinese, weaving a moving, time-spanning narrative that honors their legacy.
With exquisite music, striking stage design, elaborate costumes, and dynamic choreography, it promises a rich audio-visual experience.
Joining Ma Jia on stage are talented performers including Sun Gechuanye, Zhao Muchen, Xu Lidong, Ming Jiaxin, and members of the Xiamen Song and Dance Theatre, ensuring a performance of exceptional artistic caliber and emotional depth.
