Participants delivered their projects in an "eight-minute presentation plus seven-minute question and answer" format. Expert judges offered professional feedback and participated in interactive question and answer sessions, assessing contestants on research and development strength, team capabilities, innovation, implementation feasibility, and funding.
This year, the competition was held in Vietnam for the first time, showcasing Nanning and Guangxi's initiatives to strengthen scientific and technological innovation collaboration with ASEAN. By organizing online and offline project roadshows and resource matching, it created a platform for Sino-Vietnamese innovation cooperation, further promoting technological exchanges between China and ASEAN.
The preliminary rounds of the competition were held from July to August across six regions: Beijing, Suzhou, and Shenzhen in China, along with Germany, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The finalists are scheduled to compete in Nanning, Guangxi, in September.
The organizing committee will invite all finalists for the grand final and project-matching meetings, facilitating the implementation and transformation of high-quality projects.
