More than 100 Thai enterprises will participate in the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning, Guangxi, this September, the expo secretariat announced on Aug 2. They will showcase products across 2,000 square meters, including food, farm produce, daily necessities, and cosmetics.

Thai specialties like durian, fragrant rice, and cosmetics, along with Thai massage experiences, have long been popular at CAEXPO. Agreements for major Sino-Thai projects, such as Charoen Pokphand Group's pork industry chain, were signed at previous expos.
This year's expo features a new AI pavilion and various themed events, boosting digital economy and tech cooperation. An upgraded green economy zone will expand collaboration in clean energy and new energy vehicles. Cross-border supply chain events aim to build advanced clusters in food processing.
Universities like Chulalongkorn and Mahidol, research institutions, and professional buyers in sectors like food processing and green agriculture will attend, deepening Sino-Thai ties through a "exhibition plus business plus research" model.
