Attended by government representatives, e-sports industry leaders, and educators from China and ASEAN nations, the launch highlighted the base's core mission: bridging academic training with industry demands.

It will focus on building an industry-education integration ecosystem integrating talent cultivation, scientific research and innovation and industrial services, and jointly promote the development of the e-sports talent training system.

Nanning, as the capital of Guangxi, has a number of strategic advantages. Its position as a China-ASEAN cooperation hub makes it uniquely suited to host the base, which aims to strengthen cultural and economic ties via e-sports.

By integrating educational resources with industrial innovation, the initiative is set to boost regional e-sports ecosystems and nurture a new generation of global-ready talent.
