A China (Guangxi)-France modern agriculture promotion event recently took place in Paris to boost cooperation in smart agriculture and supply chains. It drew nearly 100 participants from various sectors.
The event was backed by the Chinese Embassy in France and hosted by Guangxi's agricultural authority. Attendees included representatives of governments, enterprises, associations, research institutions and Chinese communities.
A showcase of Guangxi's specialties—mangoes, pitayas, passion fruits and Liubao tea—attracted much attention. In-depth talks covered modern farm equipment, smart farming and agri-trade.
Cooperation deals were also signed: a Guangxi firm and France's Bioret Agri formed an agreement on cattle bedding trade, while another Guangxi company and NUCLEUS SAS inked a joint breeding pact, helping local industries meet European standards.
Rich in tropical agriculture, Guangxi aims to deepen Sino-French cooperation in green, smart agriculture, helping its products enter more global markets.
