A recent China-ASEAN fragrance and flavor industry exchange in Guangxi has kindled fresh trade synergies. Over 20 ASEAN enterprises and leading Chinese players, drawing on Guangxi's legacy as the "Kingdom of Natural Fragrances", explored two-way collaboration, breathing new life into the ancient spice route with modern commerce.

Aligning with Guangxi's drive to build a modern industrial system and utilizing the China-ASEAN Expo platform, the event served as a "cooperation bridge" through matchmaking sessions, field visits and in-depth talks, empowering industry. It injected new momentum into Guangxi's sector upgrading and global outreach, deepening regional industrial integration.

Site tours to Nanning and Yulin bore concrete fruits: partnerships bloomed between local and ASEAN firms, with AI management tools and star anise products winning acclaim. ASEAN delegates lauded the complementary strengths, envisioning a win-win model of "ASEAN raw materials plus Guangxi manufacturing plus global markets."

Plans now focus on forging an ASEAN-oriented fragrance cluster, with dialogues on standards and supply chains to transform Guangxi into a regional hub—letting "Guangxi aromas" waft across ASEAN while welcoming ASEAN scents into China.
