From June 12 to 15, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region showcased its tourism charm at the 39th Hong Kong International Travel Expo (ITE).
Under the theme "Next Stop, Guangxi", the Guangxi delegation, including representatives from Guilin, Wuzhou, and Hezhou, presented diverse cultural experiences and promoted summer travel offerings.
A highlight of the Guangxi booth was a high-speed rail map showing direct train routes from Hong Kong to cities in Guangxi, emphasizing convenience and accessibility for Hong Kong travelers.
Cultural activities drew large crowds. The Moye Band from Hezhou performed ethnic songs, while national-level inheritor Li Suofang demonstrated Yao embroidery. Tea masters offered tastings of Zhaoping Green Tea and Liubao Tea, impressing visitors with Guangxi's rich tea culture.
A tourism promotion event welcomed 25 Hong Kong travel agencies for business matchmaking, leading to multiple cooperation agreements. Guangxi's scenic spots and travel agencies launched high-speed rail-themed products and exclusive offers, attracting strong interest.
