On May 28, a crew from Thailand's TNN Television arrived in Daxin county, Chongzuo, Guangxi, to film a feature on the famed Detian Waterfall—Asia's largest and the world's fourth-largest cross-border waterfall.
During the shoot, the team explored both the core scenic area and nearby villages, capturing the breathtaking natural beauty and rich borderland culture. TNN anchor Nuttapong Namsirikul expressed awe, calling Detian "a true world wonder" and marveling at its majestic force and unique location on the China-Vietnam border.
The production uses a walk-and-talk format to showcase the waterfall from multiple perspectives, blending nature and culture in vivid details. Surrounded by lush karst landscapes, the waterfall's cascading tiers form a spectacular natural panorama.
As a key cross-border tourism destination, Detian has seen growing international interest. This Thai media spotlight is expected to boost cultural exchange and promote regional tourism. The feature will be broadcast across TNN's online and offline platforms in Thailand, helping more Thai travelers discover the hidden beauty of Guangxi.
