The second visit by ASEAN youth writers to China recently kicked off in Nanning, Guangxi, bringing together 46 young writers from China and nine ASEAN countries.
Through discussions, field visits, and literary sharing, participants explored Guangxi's cultural treasures. Highlights included a visit to the Guangxi Modern Literature Museum, the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park, and the Pinglu Canal project. Writers also experienced the ancient artistry of Qinzhou's Nixing pottery and learned about historical figures like Liu Yongfu.
On May 25, the tour culminated in a literary evening on Qinzhou Old Street, where writers shared original works in a courtyard setting, transcending language barriers through the shared language of art.
