Enterprises in Guangxi eligible for up to 3m yuan in rewards

The Guangxi government recently issued a plan to promote the advancement of specialized, refined, and new small enterprises through policy guidance, financial support, and gradient cultivation measures.

A one-time reward of 3 million yuan ($414,488) will be provided in the same year as application to nationally recognized specialized, refined, and new "small giant" enterprises.

The plan outlines support measures aimed at boosting the quality of specialized, refined, and new small enterprises in the autonomous region from 2025 to 2027, forming a gradient cultivation approach.

Efforts will be made to help enterprises achieve new growth, tackle new technologies, and develop new products (referred to as the "three news"), strengthening the supporting capabilities of the industrial chain (referred to as the "one strength"), and enhancing industrial chain support through financial guidance and promotion.

Applicant enterprises must have undergone review in the current and next year and are required to formulate a development action plan centered around the "three news and one strength" as well as commit to achieving related investment goals within two years.

Nationally recognized specialized, refined, and new "small giant" enterprises in the review category will receive a one-time reward of 3 million yuan in the same year as application. Enterprises entering the cultivation category will receive a one-time reward of 1 million yuan in the same year as application. Enterprises newly identified by China as specialized, refined, and new "small giants" during the two-year cultivation period will be directly classified into the advancement category and receive a one-time reward of 3 million yuan in the same year as application.
