Cross-border tourism cooperation between China and Vietnam was launched on Monday in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, aiming to strengthen ties between Guangxi and Vietnam's Quang Ninh province.
The event brought together 41 Vietnamese delegates from Quang Ninh, officials from Guangxi's Department of Culture and Tourism, foreign experts, university scholars, and media representatives.
Fang Zhenqiang, an official from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi, announced the upcoming launch of the "Ho Chi Minh China-Vietnam Friendship Guangxi Tour", a curated travel route linking key historical sites and memorials significant to both regions.
