Guangxi celebrates Sanyuesan Festival with exciting activities

Sanyuesan Festival is a traditional festival for the Zhuang ethnic group of Guangxi. The festival holiday is set to begin on March 29 and ends on April 1, with various places in Guangxi hosting exciting activities.

Liuzhou city recently kicked off the Sanyuesan Festival themed cultural activities at the Rongan Museum Square, initiating a month-long campaign of national unity and progress education and a series of activities.

The event also introduced a model selection competition to promote ethnic clothing on a broader stage through innovative integration of ethnic culture and rural vitalization. Ninety-one participants and 18 groups from Rongan, Rongshui, Sanjiang, and other places showcased ethnic costumes, igniting the audience's enthusiasm and earning rounds of applause.

Qingxiu district of Nanning held a carnival on March 22, drawing many residents, tourists, and enthusiasts of folk culture. The event, with songs as a means of friendship, captivated a large audience with continuous applause and cheers.

A public cultural event was held in Yangshuo on March 24, showcasing a vibrant mix of traditional folk songs, folk dances, and unique parades that brought classic scenes to life.
