Guilin embraces era of AI

Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has developed four national-level digital transformation benchmark projects, 12 autonomous region-level AI and real economy deep integration pilot demonstration projects, cultivated eight autonomous region-level intelligent manufacturing benchmark enterprises, 42 smart factories, and 37 digital workshops in recent years.

At Guilin Zhishen Information Technology, visiting guests picked up smart guitars and played tunes that sounded remarkably professional under the support of AI. The company's products are sold in over 90 countries and regions worldwide, with smart stabilizers, smart photography lights, and smart instruments gaining popularity overseas. The company leader revealed that industry-academia-research collaboration has enabled the company to overcome multiple key technology challenges.

AI has provided valuable assistance to the elderly with mobility challenges. Intelligent care for bowel movements, bathing, and walking aids are among the robotic solutions produced by a Guilin technology company, assisting the elderly in daily life, performing intelligent detection and data analysis, and reducing the burden on caregivers.

Yao Ping, co-founder and CEO of this technology company, stated that they have established five major product lines, with an expected annual production of about 100,000 intelligent hardware products, generating a production value of 200 million yuan ($27.55 million) once fully operational.
