Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar experts conduct exchange, studies in Guangxi

Fifteen government officials and technical experts from Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar gathered in Nanning, Guangxi, China, on Feb 20 for the opening ceremony of the Field Visit of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Project. Selected as trainees for the project, they will engage in technical exchanges and field studies during their stay.

The event aims to promote regional quality infrastructure connectivity and enhance cooperation and exchange in conformity assessment among Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and related countries.

During the eight-day exchange and study activity, participants will visit nine institutions and enterprises in three cities across Guangxi and Guangdong. To gain an in-depth understanding of China's conformity assessment system, practical operations, and relevant technical standards. The program systematically teaches how conformity assessment improves product quality and facilitates trade.

Additionally, participants will engage in practical exchanges with Chinese experts and industry representatives to discuss enhancing conformity assessment capabilities in the Lancang-Mekong region and explore future development paths in this field.

These countries plan to continue strengthening technical exchanges and cooperation to promote high-quality regional development and achieve the vision of connectivity and mutual benefits.
