Shuolong Land Port begins trial operation

The Shuolong Land Port, located in Daxin county, Chongzuo, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, commenced its trial operations on Jan 24. On the inaugural day, the facility recorded 175 inbound and 177 outbound passengers.

Shuolong port, corresponding to the one in Ha Lang, Cao Bang province, Vietnam, serves as a passage for people and passenger vehicles, capable of handling the entry and exit of up to 1 million people annually.

The Yanying channel of Shuolong port is designated for cargo and freight vehicles, with an annual throughput capacity of over 2.66 million metric tons of goods and more than 120,000 freight vehicles.

The official trial operation of Shuolong Land Port is anticipated to significantly enhance economic development in the region. This initiative is expected to stimulate industrial growth and drive comprehensive regional progress.
