The Youyiguan Port Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection Station in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region reported a continuous surge in inbound and outbound passenger flow from Jan 18 to 22, surpassing the 10,000 mark for five consecutive days.

Youyiguan Port serves as a vital channel for Guangxi's trade with Vietnam and is one of the fastest and most convenient land routes to Vietnam and the ASEAN region. With the Spring Festival approaching, many Vietnamese workers are returning home for the holiday. This, coupled with the sustained popularity of border tourism, has resulted in a significant increase in passenger traffic at the checkpoint.

Tour guide Zhang Xinwen noted that parents are eager to take their children out for trips during the winter holiday. She mentioned that the most popular choice among parents is the one-day trip, allowing families to return home the same evening. The streamlined procedures are convenient and do not disrupt their regular work schedules.

To manage the peak holiday passenger flow, the inspection station closely monitors real-time inbound and outbound traffic, dynamically optimizing immigration inspection duty modes to enhance operational efficiency.
