China-ASEAN forum on economic, trade cooperation opens in Nanning

The China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation International Forum was held at Guangxi University in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Dec 28.

The event brought together over 150 experts from ASEAN countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia, as well as scholars from prestigious Chinese universities and government officials.

The forum facilitated in-depth discussions on various aspects of China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation and development, providing forward-looking and actionable insights and recommendations to improve cooperation.

Experts and scholars agreed on the bright prospects of China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation, emphasizing its role in promoting economic development in Asia and fostering a more resilient China-ASEAN industrial chain.

Participants expressed their commitment to strengthening cooperation, sharing resources, and jointly moving closer to becoming a China-ASEAN community with a shared destiny. The forum not only generated innovative perspectives but also laid a solid foundation for practical collaboration, setting the stage for deeper China-ASEAN economic and trade ties and contributing to the establishment of a more tight-knit China-ASEAN community.
