Construction of the Bama-Qiangwei Expressway, part of the Tian'e-Beihai Expressway, has been sped up, local media outlets reported on Dec 16.

The Bama-Qiangwei Expressway serves as an important link between Guangxi and Guizhou province. It connects to Guizhou's "Vertical 10" line and the G7522 Guiyang-Beihai Expressway, playing a significant role in expanding the capacity of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.

The dual six-lane main line of the project spans 56.54 kilometers, passing through Bama, Donglan, and Dahua counties in Hechi with a planned speed limit of 100 kilometers per hour.

To date, 93 percent of roadbed engineering, 95 percent of bridge engineering, and 97 percent of tunnel engineering have been completed. Key control projects such as grand bridges and tunnels are progressing rapidly.
