2024 Intl Tour Operators Conference opens in Guangxi

The 2024 International Tour Operators Conference convened on Nov 12 in Wuzhou, Guangxi, attracting over 50 representatives from the tourism sectors of 16 countries, including Russia, France, the UK, South Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia.

With the tagline "Splendid Guangxi, Shared with the World," this conference serves as a key event in conjunction with the 2024 Guangxi Cultural Tourism Development Conference, aiming to explore new opportunities for inbound tourism.

The event spotlighted the region's natural beauty and cultural diversity, while Hu Fan, vice president of Guangxi, emphasized the conference's role in fostering global tourism partnerships and promoting Guangxi's unique cultural heritage.

A key highlight of the event was the "International Promotion Partner" award, which was presented to 10 international travel agencies by Guangxi's culture and tourism department. Following the conference, international delegates are set to visit Wuzhou, Guilin, and Hezhou to experience Guangxi's inbound tourism offerings firsthand.
