Guangxi-Hong Kong cultural tourism salon holds in Hong Kong

On Sep 5, the salon of Guangxi-Hong Kong cultural tourism named "Next Stop Guangxi" took place in Hong Kong.

The event was co-hosted by multiple departments, including the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Hong Kong Departments of Sports and Culture, the Hong Kong Tourism Bureau, and the Asia Tourism Exchange Center. They aim to promote the cooperation agreement between Guangxi and Hong Kong.

According to Ban Huaqin, member of the Party Group and deputy director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region， becoming the tourism destination for Guangxi not only provides new marketing for Guangxi but also the development of study-purpose tourism.

Zhu Guoqiang, a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, states that Guangxi is a beautiful place that Hong Kong students love as tourists and students. Hong Kong youths not only appreciate the beautiful scenery of Guangxi but also learn about the lives of the minorities. It can deepen their understanding of national unity. 

Massive tourism enterprises from different regions showcased educational tourism products during the event. Some are from the Chinese mainland, highlighting Guangxi’s landscapes, diverse ethnic cultures, and border exploration. Some of them are from Hong Kong and have introduced the products of marine and fish educational tours.

This year, following Guangxi's delegation visit to Hong Kong and Macao, the governments and enterprises of Guangxi and Hong Kong have enhanced cooperation, launching several high-quality projects.
