In its fifth year, the 2024 UCI Worldtour | Tour of Guangxi is the world's highest-level road cycling race. The event includes both the men's and women's worldtour races.
The men's race is scheduled to be held in six cities in Guangxi, namely Fangchenggang, Chongzuo, Baise, Hechi, Laibin, and Nanning, from Oct 15 to 20, while the women's race will kick off in Nanning on Oct 20.
The event consists of six sections: Fangchenggang, Chongzuo to Jingxi, Jingxi to Bama, Bama to Jinchengjiang, Yizhou to Nongla Scenic Area, and Nanning sections. The race routes include flat city circuits, mountainous terrains, and uphill finishes, covering a total distance of 1021.8 kilometers.
Apart from Nanning, the cities of Fangchenggang, Chongzuo, Baise, Hechi, and Laibin are all hosting worldtour races for the first time. With the new route, the racecourse showcases the magnificent landscapes, borderland charm, and ethnic characteristics of the southwestern region of Guangxi.
