The Uncharted Farmland: Nandan Music Festival held in Hechi on Aug 16 and 17 was a resounding success, with around 15,000 rock music fans attending to enjoy this auditory and visual extravaganza.
The festival was divided into two chapters, "Overture of the Earth" and "Overture of Sound," and featured performances by 11 music acts including the Varihnaz, Tongue, Stolen, Second Hand Rose, and others.
Following its successful debut at the end of 2023, this marks Nandan's second time hosting such a music festival. A music fan from Liuzhou, who was attending for the second time, described the Nandan music festival as very pure and heartfelt, with both well-known and emerging bands performing on the same stage, providing a refreshing experience without aesthetic fatigue.
Music also means cultural transmission. Nandan hopes that by integrating music with tourism and music with local culture, the music festival will become a new IP and standout brand for Nandian cultural tourism.
