21-year-old Zheng Qinwen won China's first Olympic tennis singles gold medal at the Paris Olympics on Aug 4, becoming the first Asian player to achieve this honor.

After the match, Zheng high-fived team members and received the Chinese flag, including tennis player Xiao Lin'ang from Guilin, who was Zheng's training partner during the Paris Olympics and the preparation period, playing a crucial role in her success.

Xiao was selected as Zheng's training partner due to the excellent alignment between her tennis skills and style with his own.

Even before last year's Asian Games, Xiao had been Zheng's training partner, helping her win the championship. He mentioned that Zheng's determination and achievements inspire him and hopes to achieve better results in future competitions.

Next, Xiao plans to participate in international challenge matches and tours held domestically. He aims to utilize the experiences and insights from the Olympics to work towards his dreams.

Zheng's victory has sparked the dreams of countless young tennis players, and Xiao hopes that younger students in Guilin will strive to excel in tennis.
