The renowned US magazine Engineering News-Record (ENR) recently featured the Tian'e Longtan Grand Bridge in its engineering section. The bridge, built by Guangxi Road and Bridge Engineering Group, is the world's largest span rigid-frame concrete arch bridge, stretching 600 meters. Located 6 kilometers upstream of Longtan Dam in Tian'e county, it crosses the Hongshui River and has a total length of 2488.55 meters.

The bridge represents a major milestone in bridge engineering, marking a "century leap" forward for concrete arch bridges. It incorporates advanced technologies including stress analysis methods, vacuum-assisted grouting, and innovations in construction process. The bridge's completion is a testament to China's leadership in the global bridge construction industry.

Guangxi Road and Bridge Engineering Group, known for its cutting-edge technology, previously set records with the Yongning Yongjiang Bridge and the Bosideng Bridge. The Tian'e Longtan Grand Bridge's opening in February 2024 highlights China's prominent role in the field, with the bridge being celebrated as a new benchmark in the development of global arch bridges.
