The exhibition period of the 21st China-ASEAN Expo will be extended to five days, with the first three days dedicated to professional exhibitions and the following two days open to the public, according to an announcement by the CAEXPO Secretariat on Jan 27.

This year's exhibition will focus on the latest developments and technological advancements in emerging fields such as digital technology, green and low-carbon initiatives, new energy and smart connected vehicles, and interconnected supply chain technologies.

A new layout will be created for the six major exhibitions - commodity trade, investment cooperation, service trade, advanced technology, strategic emerging industries, and the "Charming City" exhibition.

According to the CAEXPO Secretariat, efforts will be made to enhance the service quality when it comes to entry and clearance, transportation and translation, as well as to arrange more activities for the debut and presentation of new products, technologies, and designs for enterprises free of charge.

In order to further promote the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and actively expand the "circle of friends" of the CAEXPO, this year's event will, for the first time, invite Gulf Arab countries to serve as special partners and will also invite the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to participate.
