Long'an county in Nanning city – located in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region – has been promoting the construction of specialized agricultural bases, utilizing the advantages of its indigenous dragon fruit resources.

This has effectively promoted employment and income growth for locals and contributed to the vitalization of rural areas. 

Currently, the dragon fruit cultivation area in the county covers 73,400 mu (4,893 hectares). The annual production exceeds 200,000 tons, making it the largest dragon fruit plantation county in Guangxi.
