Nanning to host China, ASEAN environmental protection exhibition

The 2023 China-ASEAN Expo's International Environmental Protection Exhibition will be held in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, from Sept 16 to 19. 

This exhibition is an important carrier for deepening environmental cooperation between China and ASEAN. It will showcase the ecological and environmental science and technology achievements that have contributed to the construction of a green Belt and Road, as well as the creation of an international community with a shared future.

It will play the role of an international environmental exchange and cooperation platform that faces ASEAN. It will promote cutting-edge environmental protection technology and equipment, and will promote cooperation in the international environmental protection sector.

This year, for the first time ever, the event has invited leading environmental protection companies, along with representatives from the ecological and environmental departments of several provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, to participate. 

Leaders of these environmental protection departments and embassy officials from several ASEAN countries, including Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, and Singapore, will attend the exhibition's opening ceremony.

It is estimated that the exhibition will attract more than 50,000 visitors and 500,000 online viewers. 

The event also involves two government-enterprise promotion conferences, where the 29 featured exhibitors will focus on presenting solutions to current environmental issues in 14 Guangxi cities and districts. 

Technical exchanges and on-site signing ceremonies will also be held during the event to actively promote investment and project cooperation.
