The China-ASEAN Commercial Legal Forum will be held on Sept 18 in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, officials of the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit Secretariat announced on Sept 6.
The forum is being jointly organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the national chambers of commerce of 10 ASEAN countries.
As a highlighted event of the Nanning session of the 2023 China Arbitration Week, the forum will focus on strengthening compliance to related laws and regulations and cooperation among enterprises in the RCEP region.
Key topics, such as compliance development paths under RCEP, optimizing business environments for compliance, promoting compliance construction among enterprises, and international cooperation related to compliance will be discussed.
The China-ASEAN Commercial Legal Forum is currently the only law forum that will be held during the China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit.
The forum aims to build an international professional platform, enhance the international operational capabilities of participating enterprises, and promote the continuous improvement of the regional business environment. It also plans to better serve the construction of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and provide commercial legal services for regional economic development.
