A delegation led by Ridwan Kamil, governor of West Java Province, Indonesia, visited Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region to survey its local industrial park layout, automotive industry, and vocational education development, aiming to promote mutual practical cooperation.

West Java Province and Guangxi have established a friendship-province relationship. Over the years, they have been deepening their cooperation in various fields, such as economy and trade, the automotive industry, tourism, agriculture, and cultural education.

Kamil noted that the Indonesian government has been promoting the development of its new energy vehicle industry and is encouraging people to purchase NEVs.

The compact NEVs produced by Wuling are suitable for maneuvering on Indonesia's narrow streets. Kamil expressed his hope that more NEVs and electric motorcycles manufactured by Chinese enterprises can enter the Indonesian market.

In addition, Liuzhou City Vocational College has jointly established an automotive college with SAIC-GM-Wuling and collaborated with West Java Province to cultivate talents for the automotive industry. They will help to accelerate local industrial development.

Kamil, who has worked in several cities in China, said that China has developed rapidly over the past two decades, and with the opening of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway, cooperation between the two sides will move to a new level.
