Guigang's Gangbei district has been vigorously developing and expanding its dragon fruit industry, making it a prosperous industry for people to continually increase their income and contribute to rural vitalization.
Currently, the dragon fruit cultivation area in the district is over 2,000 mu (133 hectares), and the yield in the first half of 2023 reached 650 metric tons.
The dragon fruit vines on the trellises in the demonstration base of Zhangcun Street are now intertwined with each other, and purple-red fruits hang on the branches, creating a vibrant scene.
Workers have been shuttling through the base to harvest, sort, and load the fruit, preparing to transport them to market.
