A China Southern Airlines flight took off from Nanning Wuxu International Airport on July 10, marking the official resumption of the Nanning-Bangkok flight route.

This was the first direct passenger flight to Southeast Asia operated by the Guangxi branch of China Southern Airlines in three years. On that day, the outbound flight had 147 passengers, including 56 passengers that were traveling as a tour group.

From July 10 to 31, China Southern Airlines will operate flights between Nanning and Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Starting from Aug 1, the airline is scheduled to operate flights between Nanning and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The resumption of direct flights between Nanning and Bangkok has provided more choices for travelers and greatly enhances the travel experience between the two cities.

It will further promote exchanges and cooperation between both sides in terms of economy, culture, and tourism. This will also improve connectivity between cities alongside the Belt and Road.
