Tourists return to Detian waterfall
The Detian Transnational Waterfall in Chongzuo, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, has seen a remarkable recovery in both tourist volume and income.
The waterfall, situated on the China-Vietnam boundary, is the largest transnational waterfall in Asia and was listed as a national 5A-level scenic area in China in 2018.
The scenic area's tourist volume is now on par with figures from before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, and its income has increased about 2.4 times that of the same period.
