An arrangement has been made for around 200 representatives from various enterprises to visit ASEAN countries, the European Union, RCEP member countries and the Middle East.

When carrying out cooperation activities and exchanges with Japanese and South Korean enterprises, the region will focus on industries such as electronic information, high-end manufacturing, precision equipment, biomedicine as well as automotive and spare parts.

Priority will be given to European countries who are looking to transfer their manufacturing chains.

In the Middle East, Guangxi will emphasize its rich agricultural resources and high-end machinery and equipment manufacturing industries to formulate a trade cooperation. This allows for high-end products made in Guangxi to enter the Middle East market and allows Guangxi enterprises to undertake more local infrastructure projects.

"These overseas campaigns are not only aimed to access more export deals but also to promote import procurement. Guangxi will further expand investment cooperation with emerging economies to maintain its advantages in border trade and to boost the development of new business models dealing with cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehousing," stated Diao.

Zhang Rongjian, a representative of the administrative committee of the Guangxi-ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone said that the zone is now reaching out to large-scale transnational enterprises to deepen foreign cooperation and will strive to introduce more major foreign-invested projects to the zone.
