On Sept 14, the launching ceremony of the China-ASEAN Mercantile Exchange and China-ASEAN International Consumption Season was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The China-ASEAN Mercantile Exchange is located in the China-Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park. It plans to build 14 RCEP national theme pavilions, showcasing the notable products of various countries and regions with an immersive and unique experience.

The exchange will also build online digital platforms, provide expert services for developing the digital trade industry, and promote the superior development of cross-border trade.

The China-ASEAN International Consumption Season launched simultaneously, is the essential consumption promotion activity in Guangxi in the second half of this year. The event will last until October, focusing on consumption hotspots such as fashion, fine food, culture and entertainment, tourism, and family recreations. Eight sections of consumption promotion activities will be organized during the consumption season.

The exchange and the consumption season will become critical windows for promoting high-quality economic and trade cooperation between China and RCEP countries, as well as countries and regions along the Belt and Road. This also enables people to more conveniently share high-quality, low-cost, and unique products from various countries.
