Chongqing to be 'City of Charm' at 19th CAEXPO

Chongqing municipality will be the "City of Charm" at the upcoming 19th China-ASEAN Expo, officials of the CAEXPO Secretariat announced on Sept 6.

Chongqing will set up a comprehensive exhibition hall showcasing its city image. In addition, matchmaking events will be held to deepen exchanges and cooperation in economy, trade, culture, as well as tourism between Chongqing and ASEAN countries.

Chongqing is the first special cooperation partner of CAEXPO in Southwest China and has been participating in the event for 18 consecutive years. 

It is also the management center of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, which Guangxi is an important gateway. The corridor has brought many development opportunities for Guangxi and Chongqing.
