The first batch of 1,278 exhibits for the upcoming 19th China-ASEAN Expo arrived at Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center on Sept 5.

These exhibits from Thailand and Vietnam entered the border at Qinzhou Port Checkpoint. Weighing 19,838 kilograms, the exhibits contained 10 kinds of food, such as oolong tea, dried cashew nuts, and dried pineapple, 32 kinds of cosmetic products, as well as three kinds of bedroom accessories, such as latex mattresses and pillows.

"The number of this year's exhibits for the 19th CAEXPO is over twice of that than last year's edition. An integrated customs clearance process has been implemented for imported exhibits, which allows exhibits to make declarations to Yongzhou Customs and go through inspections at checkpoints," said He Qiu of Yongzhou Customs.

Special channels have been set up by Qinzhou Port Customs to provide individual services. The temporary customs import and export cargo system is being put into operation for this year's CAEXPO for the first time, which realizes the online handling of relevant affairs, such as registration, significantly shortening the customs clearance time.
