The opening ceremony of the 13th China-ASEAN Youth Campus and the China-ASEAN Youth Development Forum took place both online and on-site in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Yunnan province on Aug 15, gathering around 120 ASEAN envoys and youth representatives.
The China-ASEAN Youth Campus is a brand project under the cooperation of the China-ASEAN cooperation framework and was launched by the All-China Youth Federation in 2006. Nearly 1,200 ASEAN youths have participated in the annual event, which provides immersive learning experiences for youths who want to learn more about China.
This year's campus will last for one week and attendees from China and overseas countries will pay on-site visits to industrial parks and ecological protection demonstration sites to see China's latest industrial growth and green development outcomes. They will also have a chance to experience intangible cultural heritage items and participate in themed forums.
