Farmers have been busy harvesting ripe early-season rice during the bright summer days in Xingui village, Tantou township in Liuzhou's Rong'an county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
Rong'an county, located in the mountains in northern Guangxi, has been increasing the production of its early-season rice in recent years and has seen steady growth in both crop sizes and yields in the area.

The county's harvesting area of early-season rice in 2022 stands at 106,300 mu (7,087 hectares) and the total yield is estimated to reach 38,990 metric tons, increasing by 2 percent year-on-year.
