The Longji Rice Terraces in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region welcomed the first snow of 2022 on Feb 20. 

The rice terraces and nearby stilted buildings in the villages were embedded with a layer of white snow, painting a picturesque scenery. As a Chinese saying goes, 'a timely snowfall offers the promise for a fruitful harvest.'
