Two ski resorts in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region have gained more and more popularity with the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic opening on Feb 4. This has lightened up people's enthusiasm for winter sports.

The 10,000-square-meter Guilin Tianhu Ice & Snow World Ski Resort is able to hold around 2,000 visitors. The resort is well equipped with professional skiing equipment such as ski suits, poles, and gloves. It has a ski slope specialized for green hands that is 150 meters in length, 80 meters in width, and an eight percent average gradient.

Huang Qing of Guilin Tianhu Ice & Snow World Ski Resort noted that the resort currently welcomes around 400 visitors daily.

Huang also added that the resort has been devoting continuous efforts to popularizing ski knowledge since its opening four years ago, allowing more people to learn about this sport.

The other ideal ski resort in Guangxi is located in Wuzhou's Canghai New Area. It is an indoor ski resort that opens all year around. Zhu Yu from the ski resort noted that the place has received more than 60,000 visitors in the past year and hundreds of visitors have come to the place to experience the fun of skiing recently.

In addition, a professional large-scale alpine ski resort is under construction in Yulin and more ski resorts are planned to open in Guangxi.
