The China-ASEAN Technology Transfer Center (CATTC) was China's only technology transfer center invited to the 2021 Medical Fair Thailand, which commenced both online and on-site on Dec 8.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony of CATTC's exhibition booth was attended by guests including the Thai Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Anek Laothamatas as well as Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) President Narong Sirilertworakul.

Together with the Chinese Academy of Science's Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok) (CASICCB), CATTC brought advanced domestic technologies and products in sectors such as pandemic prevention, biomedicine and digital medicine to the event

Through the event, technological exchange between China and Thailand will be bolstered and advanced technologies in China will have the chance to be further promoted in ASEAN.

The China-Thailand ASEAN Innovation Hub, jointly built by CATTC and CASICCB, also made its debut at the exhibition. The 1,000-square-meter hub is located in Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and is China's first overseas demonstrative innovation incubator in an ASEAN country.

The on-site 2021 Medical Fair Thailand ran from Dec 8 to 9, while its online exhibition will run for one year until Dec 8, 2022. Online events such as forums, exhibitions, seminars and matchmakings will also be arranged.
