The total import and export value of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region climbed 27.8 percent year-on-year to 548.55 billion yuan ($86.18 billion) in the first 11 months of 2021, officials from Nanning Customs announced Dec 13.
The growth rate was 5.8 percentage points higher than the national average in the same time period.
Guangxi's exports in the Jan-Nov period increased by 17.1 percent year-on-year to 273.63 billion yuan, while imports reached 274.92 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 40.5 percent.
Bonded logistics imports and exports expanded by 56 percent to 133.87 billion yuan, with the growth rate being 27.5 percentage points higher than the national average, contributing 11.2 percentage points of growth to Guangxi's foreign trade.
In addition, the total foreign trade between Guangxi and ASEAN increased by 26.2 percent year-on-year to 264.93 billion yuan in the first 11 months of 2021.
