China-ASEAN Music Festival takes a curtain call in Nanning

Curtains for the 2021 China-ASEAN Music Festival closed after an ethnic orchestral music concert was staged at the Guangxi Culture and Art Center in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Nov 6.

Cao Kexin from Guangxi Arts University conducted six excellent ethnic orchestral music pieces during the event.

The China-ASEAN Music Festival is an international event held by Guangxi Arts University that aims to boost multicultural integration between China and ASEAN music and elevate the creative process and research of new musical pieces as well as open up lines of communication to create a mutual educational dialogue.

This year's event lasted for five days and featured 11 concerts and two summits, gathering more than 70 musicians from all over the country.
