The 2021 China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibition concluded with fruitful results on Oct 17 in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
This year's event commenced on Oct 15 both online and offline while its on-site exhibition area reached 25,000 square meters, gathering exhibitors including 10 ASEAN countries, 50 agencies from overseas countries and regions in China, 15 domestic provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, and 14 cities from Guangxi.
Seven exhibition halls were set up that featured elements such as tourism equipment, smart tourism and tourism products.
Over 300 purchasers were invited to attend the exhibition from both home and abroad. Activities such as matchmaking events and promotion fairs have been held.
Advanced technologies such as 5G, virtual reality and big data were showcased during this year's expo to create an online exhibition platform connecting various parties such as the hosts, exhibitors and purchasers. Live streams were also arranged to further expand the influence of the event.
