The Dialogue on China-ASEAN Information Harbor was held in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province on Sept 26 during the 2021 World Internet Conference (WIC).
The event was held by the Cyberspace Administration of China and People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region with the help of the China-ASEAN Information Harbor.
Themed on "Jointly Build the Digital Silk Road and Share the Benefits of Digital Economy," the dialogue was held both online and on-site, inviting guests such as government officials from China and ASEAN countries, ASEAN envoys and entrepreneurs in the digital economy from home and abroad.
Pressing issues related to the latest achievements and cooperation opportunities in the digital economy between China and ASEAN and how to use the China-ASEAN Information Harbor to promote China-ASEAN cooperation in the sector were discussed during the event.
China put forward the initiative in 2015 to jointly build the China-ASEAN Information Harbor with ASEAN countries for a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.

Zhao Zeliang, deputy director of the Cyberspace Administration of China, expressed his hope that more communication and exchanges can be carried out between China and ASEAN countries to deepen mutual digital cooperation.
Cambodian Minister of Post and Telecommunications Vandeth Chea said in a video speech that Cambodia fully supports the digital economy cooperation between China and ASEAN and the construction of the China-ASEAN Information Harbor. The country has given great priority to the construction of digital infrastructure.
A batch of achievements made in the construction of the China-ASEAN Information Harbor were also showcased during the event.
