A delegation of envoys of ASEAN countries and representatives of outstanding young ASEAN scientific talents visited the Exhibition on Advanced Technologies of the 18th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) on Sept 10.

Members of the delegation included Pasupha Chinvarasopak, minister counselor for science and technology of the Embassy of Thailand in China and Yaya Sutarya, education counselor of the Embassy of Indonesia in China.

The delegation spoke highly of the rapid development of China's science and technology, expressing hope that more scientific cooperation and communication could be carried out between China and ASEAN especially in biomedicine and sustainable development to jointly build a China-ASEAN community with a shared future.

The exhibition booth of the China-ASEAN Technology Transfer Center (CATTC) showcased several innovative cooperation projects and scientific outcomes from both China and ASEAN. 

The delegation expressed gratitude to CATTC for its contributions in boosting China-ASEAN scientific cooperation and noted that CATTC can further move forward the two-way scientific outcomes transformation between China and ASEAN countries.
